Project Overview
This home was designed to fulfill the client’s basic functional needs while creating a pleasing and harmonious living environment. A key design focus was to define and separate the kitchen and dining areas, reflecting the importance of dining as a family activity. Through thoughtful spatial planning and lighting design, the home balances utility with warmth and comfort.
Living Room
The entryway immediately captures attention with a textured feature wall adorned by delicate hanging fairy lights, setting an inviting tone for the hall. In the living room, a mix of wallpaper and wooden-finish laminate creates a cohesive and elegant backdrop. Every element, from the furniture to the finishes, complements the overall aesthetic. The inclusion of a recliner sofa provides the comfort the client desired, blending relaxation with style. A coloured glass partition introduces vibrancy and breaks the visual monotony against the contrasting grey walls, enriching the spatial experience. The interplay of the false ceiling and layered lighting enhances the ambiance, allowing for varied moods that cater to different activities and times of day.
Pooja Space & Rooms
Adjacent to the pooja room, a cleverly integrated storeroom optimizes space without compromising on function or aesthetics. The pooja area itself is thoughtfully designed, serving as both a serene spiritual space and a focal point during the yearly Ganpati Puja celebrations. Ambient warm lighting throughout the bedrooms promotes peaceful evenings and a cozy family atmosphere, emphasizing comfort and tranquility.
